| The Ramset Trakfast TF1100 tool is the ultimate in production fastening. This is a gas powered tool, literally an internal combustion engine with a piston, spark plug, ignition system, fuel source and a battery. Ramset's time proven technology makes this the most reliable automatic tool on the market. We sell a lot of these to the waterproofing trade for shooting on the dimpled sheeting from Delta and Big O (the Platon system) and I am sure there are others I don't know about. This is also a popular tool with stucco contractors. Some use the lathing disc but most just pepper the lathe with straight 3/4" pins. The most common pins are the 34/" for the lather and 1 1/4" for the waterproofer. Unlike powder actuated tools, no licensing is required. |
